Orahovca walnut dessert

Ingredients

  • 250 g Schlagsahne
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 100ml Maraska Orahovca
  • 20g powdered sugar
  • 70 g sugar
  • 70 ml water
  • 4 egg whites
  • 4 egg yolks
  • cherry jam
  • cherry juice
for 4 person(s)

Instructions

Roughly chop the walnuts, dust them with powdered sugar in a pan and caramelize them briefly.

Chill the nuts. Beat the egg yolks until frothy. Let the sugar and water boil for about 1 minute and whip under the egg foam while hot.

Beat the egg mixture in an ice water bath until the foam is whitish.

Make snow out of the egg white, fold in the whipped cream, as well as the cold nut mixture and the liqueur.

Divide into four forms and place in the refrigerator overnight or leave to freeze. Mix cherry jam and cherry juice as a topping.
