Čvarci Delikates are pressed cracklings. From them, almost all the fat was squeezed out, yet these delicious, thin slices are by no means hard, but delicate and crisp.
Čvarci is a traditional pork product from the balkan kitchen. For their production, small pieces of bacon from pork are melted in a metal kettle, with the addition of milk, small onion pieces and salt.
The best is to enjoy them as a modern snack, a glass of wine or beer. In Croatia they are usually eaten with bread and onions.
In 2015 with more than 50 tons of sold cracklings and more than 130 tons of pork lard, delivered to individual customers as well as large bakery industries.
