Cracklings are a traditional dish, made by melting little pieces of pork bacon in a metal cauldron. Milk, tiny bits of onion, and at the end – salt, are being added to the cracklings during the process. And so our cracklings are just like traditional – beautiful reddish-yellow, crispy, fragrant and pleasantly salty. They therefore win international prizes for taste and quality!
They taste delicious to beer, to a hearty snack or can simply serve as an alternative to chips in front of the television. In Croatia they are usually eaten with bread and onions.
