Posip is an autochthonous white grape variety from Croatia, which is mainly grown in Dalmatia on the island of Korčula, the island of Hvar and the Pelješac peninsula. Pošip is a natural cross between the two grape varieties Zlatarica blatska bijeli and Bratkovina bijeli. This wine has an intense aroma of tropical fruits and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. It is fresh in the mouth and nose. The spicy finish is long-lasting. It can be served well with baked fish, veal or marinated poultry.
