Family
Philosophy of our family is based on togetherness which is preserved through generations. We have always followed same goal and worked on it with diligence and serious dedication. Our aim is to widen horizons and cross borders in wine world, always keeping a single promise of quality which for we guarantee by our family name.
Doing this way from generation to generation, we are creating the wines which save the expression and character of Istrian indigenous varieties. Striving for excellence in production processes and in knowledge, we join past, presence and future in our wines.
Vineyards
Our vineyards – Valle in front of the winery and premium plots on Santa Lucia single vineyard nearby town of Buje – are grown and nourished carefully from generation to generation. Hence, the vineyard, the family and the winery make one the same nucleus.
Our story began in 1904. in Valle valley crossed by the spring Argilla, with our ancestors who had barely few ha of vineyards. Till nowadays, our family lives and works in Valle, beside the vineyards and with them.
Today we are planting indigenous varieties – Malvazia, Muscat Momiano, Muscat Rose and Teran. From International varieties we grow Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Harvest is done by hand exclusively.
Winery
New winery with a total surface of 2200 square meters with a cellar for inox and barrique barrels was built in 2012. Within it we have multi-functional venues for wine presentations and workshops. Also, there is a smart wine bar with an elegant wine shop. In front of the winery there is splendid, roofed terrace fenced in glass, overlooking vineyards in Valle valley.
